Stoke Council Turns Down Request for Consultation Extension

I was disappointed to receive this letter from Stoke-on-Trent City Council turning down my request for an extension to the consultation on the joint draft local plan between Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Newcastle-Under-Lyme Borough Council.
I have significant concerns about the proposals in the draft local plan, including the proposal for major housing developments on greenfield sites such as Berryhill Fields instead of maximising the use of brownfield sites first.

As the local plan is now drawn up, I will continue to put forward these concerns to the City Council and ensure the voices of local residents are heard.
