Ruth Smeeth MP is right - the Children's Sexual Assault Referral Centre must stay in the city

Ruth is quite right to raise this in the House of Commons. At a recent meeting with the Staffordshire Police Commissioner in Parliament that we both attended, we both raised it as a matter of concern.

When offering support for those who have been sexually assaulted, it should be a service that is easily accessible and this is even more the case when Children are involved.

One large regional centre replacing smaller local centres is not a model which anyone will be comfortable with.
