Help Gareth fight the Tories

Can you help us win locally again? Can you donate just £5 to help Labour fight the Tories in Stoke-on-Trent?

A year ago today, all eyes were on Stoke-on-Trent as the country's press descended on our city to cover a by election that they said The Labour Party was going to lose. It was a tough campaign. UKIP selected its leader Paul Nuttall to be its candidate. They thought it was in the bag. But they took the public for granted and they underestimated the power of our movement.

Our movement at its best, members and supporters from trade unions and Labour Parties across the country coming together. Young and old, new members and those with decades of experience knocking on doors and delivering leaflets to put forward a message of hope and tolerance. And residents in Stoke-on-Trent Central replied loud and clear. They voted against the politics of hate and division. They voted to bring investment and new jobs into our city. To start building more council houses so everyone can have a decent home. To keep our NHS public and get it the funding it desperately needs To give new opportunities to the next generation and hope for the future.
