Last week at Labour Party conference in Brighton I had the opportunity to meet some fantastic organisations and learn more about some important campaigns from across the country. One of those important campaigns is run by Prostate Cancer UK, a campaign with a simple but important ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the focus over the next 10 years to radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we can stop prostate cancer being a killer.
If we’re honest, men are sometimes not the best at looking after our health. And talking about your prostate isn’t something that comes up in your average conversation. But Prostate Cancer UK are running a campaign in partnership with Jeff Stelling and professional footballers and managers to get men talking about their health.
You can learn more at https://prostatecanceruk.org/ about how you can support the campaign. I’ll continue to support the campaign in every way I can.
