I suspect after a by-election and General Election just a few months in-between the last thing the voters in Stoke-on-Trent Central wanted to see are leaflets and letters with my face on it!
But in February and June I made a promise, that unlike some of my more well-known opponents I would be a week in week out MP. That I would be working with local residents all year round to take on the issues that matter to them.
This morning I was out in Birches Head knocking on doors and delivering my local survey on a variety of issues. It was good to talk to people about the NHS, Education and of course Brexit.
I'm going to continue knocking on doors locally all year round and keep listening - because that's what you elected me to do.
